October Sustainability Events

Each October brings so many different opportunities to explore the sustainability and environmental program at Saint Michael's. Below is a list of all the events planned for this month into the beginning of November. Be sure to jot these down on your calendar, you won't want to miss them!

Oct 11: Live Wolves, Keeping Track lecture/photo slideshow. Ross Sports Center 7:00pm
Oct 21-23 : Environmental Conflict Conference at new UVM Institute for Environmental Security and Diplomacy (Director - Saleem Ali)
Oct 22 - Green Up's annual Harvest Fest. Library Lawn
Oct 24: Environmental Studies majors give concentration proposal presentations 7:00 pm, location TBA
Oct 26: Food Justice club's 100-mile dinner event
Nov 1: Environmental Studies majors give concentration proposal presentations 7:00 pm location TBA
Nov 2: Evening lecture by Barry Estabrook, author of "Tomato Land" 7:00 pm McCarthy Arts Center
Nov 6: Vermont Law School hosts Vermont Interfaith Power and Light Conference on "Justice and Climate Change: Faithful Action". This event is co-sponsored by SMC
